Protection for the place you call home.

Our story

Radon Removal York PA started the way a lot of local businesses do, with a homeowner who got a bad answer and decided to do better. Our founder, Dan Kessler, grew up in Red Lion and spent years in home inspection before a radon result in his own basement sent him looking for a mitigation contractor. What he found was a mix of scare tactics, vague quotes, and an installation he ended up redoing himself. He got certified, bought a monitor, and started fixing houses for people he knew.

Today we are a small team of certified measurement and mitigation technicians serving York and every town in York County. We still work the way we started, with one honest reading, one fixed price in writing, and a follow-up test that proves the fix worked.

What we believe

The truth is the service

Radon is invisible, so you have to trust whoever is holding the monitor. We take that seriously. If your levels are fine, we say so and leave. If they are not, you get one clear recommendation and nothing you don't need.

A clean install is a working install

Straight pipe, sealed joints, a fan mounted where the standard says it belongs. The details that make a system look right are the same details that make it work for the next twenty years.

Your home is your home

Shoes off at the door, drop cloths down, and the workspace left the way we found it. We are guests in the homes we work in, and we act like it.

Certified and licensed

Pennsylvania requires anyone who tests for or mitigates radon in a home to hold a certification from the Department of Environmental Protection. Every technician on our team carries it, along with training in continuous radon monitoring and mitigation to the ASTM E2121 standard. We carry liability insurance and pull permits where a municipality requires them.

How we work

1. Schedule your testPick a time that suits you. We place the monitor and explain what happens next.
2. Review your resultsWe walk you through the numbers and what they mean for your home. No jargon.
3. Build your solutionIf levels are high, we design a system for your foundation and give you a clear quote.
4. Breathe easierInstallation usually takes a day. A follow-up test confirms your levels are down.
